Welcome to Bath NHS Healthcare Centre
Bath NHS Healthcare Centre is a GP-led healthcare centre open to patients on a 'walk-in' basis without an appointment, 365 days per year. We provide care for patients with minor injury or illness from 'Riverside Health Centre' on James Street West in Bath.
We are generally quietest first thing in the morning, so we recommend you coming to us then. Please note that at times of extreme demand, we may need to close early; so please arrive well before our closing time, to avoid disappointment.
CHANGES TO OUR SERVICE FROM 1ST APRIL 2011
On 1st April 2011, our opening hours changed to:
8.00am to 6.30pm, 365 days per year

or the GP Out-of-Hours service on 03000 33 99 33.
CHANGES TO OUR SERVICE FROM 1ST MARCH 2011
On 1st March 2011, we stopped providing the following services:-
• Routine blood tests (including INR)
• Routine blood pressure
• Ear syringing
• Pregnancy tests (for over 18’s)
• Travel vaccinations
• Tetanus booster
We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please contact your registered GP Practice if you require any of these services. Please note: these changes apply for all patients; both registered and not registered in B&NES.
CHANGES TO OUR SERVICE FROM 4TH MAY 2010
On 4th May 2010, we stopped providing the following services:
• Routine Dressings (Monday to Friday)
• Stitch Removal (Monday to Friday)
• Repeat Prescriptions (every day)
• Emergency Contraception (every day)
